SUPPORT GROUP HARVESTS GOODWILL FOR ANAMBRA GOVERNOR

Thousands of supporters of the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo recently trooped out to reinforce their support for his administration.

The crowd surging from Idemili, Awka South, Awka North, Anaocha, local government areas all under the Anambra Central Snatorial District, was joined by students from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka and the Federal Polytechnic Oko to reinforce the legitimacy of the Soludo-led regime.

No doubt, the show of solidarity cut the Governor deep as he revealed through his deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim who stood in for him. After arriving to a rousing welcome from the gathering, the national anthem followed immediately signaling the official commencement of the event.

Addressing the jubilant crowd, the Deputy Governor recalled the giant strides of the administration in the state which include the employment of five thousand teachers, and increase in their salaries by twelve thousand.

According to him, many roads which were in deplorable state prior to his assumption of office, have been repaired and are now motorable while the wife of the governor, Mrs Nonye Soludo has made cervical cancer test free for women of the state, a move that inspired the Federal Government to follow suit.

The special advicer to the Governor whom was present said that the state government has provided solution to the state, as he had already tackled the security issues in the state. He said to the people that they are now ambassadors of the state government as solution is there.

The people presented their different entertainment, with happiness of what the Governor has been doing for them and the ones he has promised them.
