State of the Nation: Religious body to pray for Nigeria

The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement says it has dedicated its Monthly Revival Prayer for July to pray for the stability and development of Nigeria.

A statement signed on Wednesday by its Public Relations Officer , Pastor Louis Chidi, said that the session is titled: God has Sworn to Bless You”

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos reports that the revival is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday by 8.00 am daily at  the Church’s headquarters in Lagos.

It would be anchored by Pastor Lazarus Muoka, the General Overseer.

According to it, the  programme which aims to address all the hues and cries occasioned by COVID-19 pandemic and its attendant economic, social and health upsets  will also proffer  solutions.

“The prayer will be tailored to surmount every enemy of the nation’s unity at the higher realm in order to silence such physically.

“Through the programme ,God will assert the fact that He is still the Almighty God, Omniscience and custodian of blessings.

“Having seen our despondency, he took an oath to bless us through the programme.

“He knows there will be a time of public outcry and a time to intervene and deliver His people.

“He has time for everything, time to weigh the burden of His children on the balance and time to relieve them from that burden.

“The present time is time for God to bless His people and cause them to have unspeakable joy,” it said.

It stressed that political turmoil and other societal disorders being experienced by citizens of the nation shall be no more after the prayer as they would have been sanctified.

The statement assured  that there would be compliance to COVID-19 protocols as the church’s  task-force on COVID-19 would ensure adherence to them.

Th statement further said that provision has been made for a digitalised security measure for orderliness.(NAN)
