Soludo Reiterates Vision of a Liveable and Prosperous Anambra State
Governor Chukwuma Soludo has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to transforming Anambra State into a “liveable and prosperous homeland,” a vision that continues to guide ongoing governance reforms across key sectors.
The statement, which is one of his usual remarks during governance engagements, was made during a State Executive Council meeting held at the Government House, Awka, where the governor briefed members of the Anambra State Executive Council and senior government officials on his administration’s priorities, reflecting the government’s dual focus on improving quality of life while strengthening economic opportunities for residents.
According to the governor, the idea of a liveable homeland centers on creating a safe, clean and well functioning environment supported by efficient infrastructure, accessible healthcare, quality education and improved urban planning.
On the other hand, the “prosperous” component of the vision emphasizes economic growth driven by job creation, supporting for small and medium scale enterprises and policies aimed at attracting investment into the state, underscoring efforts to expand local industries and increase residents’ access to sustainable livelihoods.
The administration maintains that both elements are interconnected, noting that development must translate into tangible improvements in everyday living conditions as well as long term economic empowerment.
Soludo’s message continues to serve as a guiding framework for government officials, reinforcing a results oriented approach to governance focused on measurable impact rather than rhetoric.
