Senator Nwoye Commissions Roads, Pledges More Infrastructure Development in Onitsha

Senator Tony Nwoye, representing Anambra North senatorial zone, has commissioned two roads in Fegge, Nkrumah Street leading to Uzodimma and Balewa Street, as part of his ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure in his constituency.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Senator Nwoye expressed his commitment to delivering more projects, including road constructions, street lights, and boreholes, particularly in Onitsha North and South.
He highlighted that over 22 roads have been completed across Anambra North in less than two years, with more projects in the pipeline.
“In less than two years, we have done almost 22 roads across different parts of Anambra North, and we are not stopping there,” Senator Nwoye said.
“By August this year, we will complete an additional 14 roads, I have installed more than 3000 solar lights, and more is coming, and I will also provide solar boreholes and other infrastructure.”
The senator thanked residents for their overwhelming support, citing a significant vote margin of almost 44,000 votes, and pledged to justify their trust.
He emphasized his focus on performance, saying, “If I am coming out again for an election, they are going to judge me by performance, so I owe a lot to them.”
The President of Onitsha Country Club, Anietonwa Kingsley Ajulufo, commended Senator Nwoye for keeping his promises, citing a previous commitment to reconstruct a road in the area during his last visit to the club
Anietonwa while disclosing the club offer to partner with the senator on sports development initiatives, also thanked the senator for keeping to his words.
The Members representing Onitsha South 1&11 in the States House of Assembly, Hon.Fred Ezenwa and Hon Jude Umennajiego was also present at the event among other dignitaries
