Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah Donates Chest Freezer And Re-stock Sickle Cell Home Agulu.

To demonstrate his love and continued support to persons living with sickle cell disease in the State, the senator representing Anambra south district, Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, recently donated a chest freezer and other items for use in the sickle cell home Agulu.

Mrs Ngozi Ubah who represented the senator, described her principal as a kind hearted man who always attend to the needs of the less privileged. She revealed how the senator upon hearing the challenges of food preservation in the home, immediately directed that a chest freezer be delivered.

Other items according to her, was the “icing on the cake.”

National Coordinator APLSCD, Mrs Aisha Edward Maduagwu, could not contain her joy and danced around with her members whom were overwhelmed with such magnanimity. She eulogized the benevolence of Sen. Ubah to the association.

Senator Ubah has been consistent in aiding the association with his very first donation of a brand new car. He also help in equipping the association’s vocational and skill acquisition center in Nanka. A bill for the establishment of a sickle cell disease research and treatment center at Aguata, is being sponsored by Sen. Ubah in the National Assembly, the bill has already passed it’s first reading and work is expected to commence on the site soonest.

Other items donated includes, tubers of yam, bags of rice, groundnut oil, detergents, toilet soaps etc.
