Manchester United are determined to sign Borrusia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho in this current transfer window as they look to close the gap on runaway lead leaders Liverpool and second-place Manchester City.

Reports from last night emphasized that Manchester United have made a breakthrough in negotiations relating to agent fees and personal terms.

Fabrizio Romano reported that personal terms and agent fees are no longer a problem.

Borrusia Dortmund are insisting on the £108m price tag placed on the English man and has warned that there will be no Coronavirus discount on any deal involving the winger.

The Guardian claims that Kai Havertz joining Chelsea is now being used as a tactic as well.

The midfielder joined the Blues for a whopping £70m from Bayer Leverkusen.

With Chelsea willing to pay such a high price Dortmund has made it clear to United they want the £108m they believe Sancho is worth.

United consider Dortmund’s valuation as excessive and are unwilling to meet that asking price. Although reports suggested that Manchester United have made an unofficial offer of £90m plus £18m performance-related add ons.
