Police Arrests Bishop Timothy Otu over death of Married Female Evangelist Who Lodged With Him In A Hotel August 16, 2023 243 SHARES The General Overseer of Agape Evangelical Ministeries (City of Miracles), Bishop Timothy Otu who hails from Ugep in Akwa-Ibom State has been arrested by the Police after a married female Evangelist and mother of five identified as “Evangelist Happiness Echezie” who lodged in with him at Jubilee Guest House Ovom, Ogborhill, Aba, was found dead in the hotel room. Agape Evangelical Ministeries (City of Miracles) is a popular church located in Obikabia Junction Aba, Abia State. The General Overseer of Agape Evangelical Ministeries (City of Miracles), Bishop Timothy Otu and Evangelist Happiness Echezie The incident, according to multiple reports happened around 11pm on Saturday 12th August 2023 after the Bishop allegedly booked the room with her absconded after deceiving the receptionist that he was going to buy food at that time of the night. The manager of the Hotel who suspected foul play immediately reported to the Eastern Ngwa Police Station in Obingwa Local Government Area around around 1am on Sunday morning. When officers of the Nigerian Police went to the hotel room, the woman was reportedly lying naked and foaming from her mouth and nose. Reports have that when her Phone was opened by the Police, it was discovered that the woman who is a mother of five was a member of the Agape Evangelical Ministries Incorporated founded by Bishop Timothy Otu and they have been having romantic relationship and discussion via text messages which were seen by the Police. Investigations revealed that the woman probably died during the marathon sex with the Bishop considering the fact that she’s was found naked. The Police Officers traced the Bishop to his Church at Obikabia Junction, attended his Sunday Service. Bishop Timothy Otu had already mounted the pulpit and was preaching about repentance when the plain cloth policemen arrested him and he is currently being detained at the Eastern Ngwa Police Station Obingwa. The late Evangelist Happiness who is a mother of Five hails from Umuatakawom in Obingwa and unconfirmed reports have it that her husband was at work in Bayelsa State when the ugly incident happened.
