Breaking News: Kidnappers Strike Again in Bwari Community, Kill One, Abduct Four

Tragedy struck again in Bwari Area Council, FCT Abuja, Nigeria, as daredevil kidnappers invaded Tudun-Fulani Newsite quarters in the early hours of August 30, 2024. The incident, which lasted for approximately one hour, left one person dead and four others kidnapped.

According to eyewitnesses, the kidnappers stormed the community, shooting sporadically. A local vigilante group attempted to confront them but was overpowered by the kidnappers’ superior firepower.

The Bwari Police Division, led by the DPO, later visited the scene and took away the body of the deceased, identified as Chike. The whereabouts of the four kidnapped individuals remain unknown.

This latest incident has left the community in a state of shock and fear, with residents calling for increased security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.

The kidnapping and killing have sparked widespread condemnation and outrage from residents, who are demanding urgent action from the authorities to address the growing insecurity in the area.

The FCT Police Command has also issued a statement, confirming the incident and promising to leave no stone unturned in investigating the matter and bringing the perpetrators to justice.

As the search for the kidnapped victims continues, residents are advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
