Rotaract training: Rotarian Amalu engages his lovebird DRR Utomobong , trains 180 officers

The Endyz Event Center ,Uyo Akwa-Ibom state stood still for the engagement ceremony between Rotarian Tochi Amalu, Past District Representative (PDR) and his campus lover, Rotaractor Utomobong Marvelous Etukudo, during a two day training workshop for key officers of Rotaract of District 9142.
Utomobong who was installed as the fourth District Rotaract Representative (DRR) and first female DRR at the training workshop received engagement ring from her heartrob Amalu amidst pomp and ceremony.
Rtn. Tochi Amalu, a Past District Representative (PDR) thrilled the One hundred and Eighty Rotaractors as well as Rotarians and guests when he announced the engagement of Utomobong.
According to Amalu, he was a nobody as of 2019 not until he encountered DRR Utomobong Etukudo and his life changed. He narrated how he got three employment letters in one day for knowing Utomobong. He narrated other good transformative changes that has occurred in his life since her encounter with Utomobong.
The engagement was witnessed by council of Past District Rotaract Representatives (PDR) as well as Utomobong’s mother among others who were there for the installation.
The 2 day training workshop by Rotaract of District 9142 was on twenty fourth and twenty fifth of September respectively. The training was attended by Officers of different clubs in District 9142 including Presidents, Secretaries and treasurers.
During the seminar, the C.E.O of Roothub Mr. Francis Onuk taught participants on the importance of digital creativity as a tool for Economic empowerment and sustainability of modern day business.
As part of the program , participants at the training and Rotaractors went on picnic to the Ibeno beach situated at Eket, Akwa Ibom.
The training workshop and installation ceremony of Utomobong as Fourth and first female DRR was attended by Rtn. Ini Ememobong , the Honorable Commissioner for Information and strategy, who is also the President Elect of Rotary club of Uyo Metropolis Akwa Ibom state.
During the installation ceremony, the immediate Past District Rotaract Representative (DRR) Rtn Valentine Okaudu, PHF encouraged Rotaractors to be always positive on whatever they set their minds at and continue to see charity as a way of life.
The new DRR Rtr. Utumobong Marvelous Etukudoh in her inspirational acceptance speech appealed for support from Rotaractors and others including Rotarians to enable her surpass the record of charity set by her predecessors.
She announced award of scholarship to five students including handover of complete mathematical sets and their tuition fees for their academic pursuit as part of serving humanity.
DRR. Utomobong Marvelous Etukudo has a slogan” the FUTURE IS FEMALE, “which attracted attention of Rotaractors and guests alike.
