Revised Anambra Budget: Group commends Soludo for “working his talk”

A group in Anambra State, Youths Earnestly Support Soludo (YESS) has congratulated Governor Charles Soludo on his successful presentation of the revised 2022 budget.

A statement signed by the YESS convener and Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Empowerment Programme, Dr Nelson Omenugha said “We congratulate our Mentor, Mr Governor, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR on the successful presentation of 2022 Anambra revised budget to the State House of Assembly.

“We commend Mr Governor for working his talk through the revised budget tagged “Taking off from the Blocks”.

“Particularly, we are excited at the prospect of a u7 youth empowerment evidenced in the ramping up of the budget provision for youths from 500 million to 2.5billion Naira.

“This is in line with Mr Governor’s promise of creating one thousand youth millionaires every year. Indeed, the story of Anambra youths is about to change for good.

“We thank the leadership of the State House of Assembly under the youthful speaker, Rt Hon Uche Okafor and for their commitment to expeditiously attend to the presented revised budget.

“We promise our continued support in mobilising relevant stakeholders that would help actualize Mr Governor’s vision of a Liveable and Prosperous Homeland.
