PROFILE OF ENGR DR. PAUL CHUKWULOZIE OKOLIE
Paul Chukwulozie Okolie is a Reader (Associate Professor) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Nnamdi Aziukwe University Awka.
He is an Engineer by profession, registered with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) since 2010.
He holds a Ph.D degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Benin (2019), Masters Degree in Industrial Production Engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka (2010), Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/ Production Engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka (2004), National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana, Afikpo (1999) and Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Usman Dan Fodio University Sokoto (2009).
Paul holds two Fellowship of Professional bodies namely; Institute of Oil & Gas Research and Hydrocarbon Studies (FIOGR) and Institute of Policy Management and Development (FIPMD), membership of one International and two national bodies which includes; International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Nigerian Institute of Management, (NIM) and Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
He has over 70 refereed Journal Papers, 25 Conference/ Seminar / Workshop Papers at National and International fora, and so many general interested texts and papers. He has about seven grants to his credit.
Paul has been severally honoured with awards for Academic Excellence, Youth Development, Outstanding Leadership, Community Development, and Integrity at all levels.
At the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Paul Okolie has served as Chairman of Faculty of Engineering Welfare Association (FEGWA), Chairman Synergy Committee, Mechanical Engineering Department, Chairman Alumni Committee Mechanical Engineering Department and served as member of different University Committees at different levels. (Department, Faculty and University).
He was the Deputy Coordinator, Chisco Institute for Transportation studies from 2014 to 2021, Coordinator, Chisco Institute for Transportation Studies 2021 to 2023, Pioneer Director, Chisco Institute for Transportation Studies (May 2023) and also the Pioneer Director, Chisco Institute for Logistics and Supply Chain Management after changing the name of the Institute late 2023 by the University Senate.
He was the Coordinator University Pioneer Hall-of-Fame Award at the 17th Convocation Ceremonies of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.
Paul Okolie is happily married to Engr. (Mrs.) Okolie Uchenna Onyebuchi, with five children, Chinecherem, Chinedum, Chikamso, Chimdike and Chinonso.
