While briefing newsmen in his Otolo Nnewi country home on Wednesday, January 16, Prince Nwafor Orizu, who is currently the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on Youth Entrepreneurship, Mobilization and Strategy, noted that among all those presently gunning for the Anambra South Senatorial election, Chief Chris Uba remains the only candidate, who has clear cut agenda for the youths, and the Igbo people in general.

“I’ve weighed all the individuals gunning for the senatorial position in Anambra South senatorial district, and has decided to settle and work for Chief Chris Uba.

“I’ve looked at them closely, and find out that Chief Uba, based on his past antecedent, will be the most productive of all those clamouring for the position”, he said.

He said further, “I’m still an APGA man; but I’ve made up my mind to work for and deliver a senatorial candidate of the PDP, Chris Uba, in the 2019 general election for the following reasons:

“One, I want the Old Aguata region to produce senator now, so as to give way for governor of Old Nnewi extraction in 2023.

“Again, in the last governorship election in Anambra, Chris Uba, though a PDP chieftain, worked openly for the reelection of my principal, Governor Willie Obiano; therefore, it cannot be out of place for me as an APGA man to work for his senatorial victory.

“Besides, Chris Uba has paid his dues in the political firmament. He produced Mbadinuju as governor of Anambra, he produced Ngige, and also worked for the emergence of Peter Obi as governor; as well as working for the second term reelection of Obiano. During Mbadinuju’s era as governor; Uba also helped to push me up into political limelight, so, this is a payback time. I am out to work for and deliver Chris Uba in the 2019 general election”, he said.

Prince Nwafor Orizu said that his political leaning will not blind his political direction, as according to him, he will mobilize Anambra youths  to work for Chief Ubah, and also ensure his victory at the polls.
