THE NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL OF OHANAEZE NDIGBO WORLDWIDE YOUTH WING, LED BY MAZI CHUKWUMA OKPALAEZUKWU, COMMENDS ABIA GOVERNOR, MAZI ALEX OTTI, OVER THE DISCOVERY OF MORE THAN 50 DECOMPOSING BODIES AND OVER A DOZEN HEADLESS BODIES AT LOKPANTA CATTLE MARKET; CALL ON SECURITY AGENCIES TO FISH OUT PEPERTRATORS…

In a release made available to press men by the Spokesman, Mazi Chika Art Adiele, the national leadership of the Igbo Apex youth organization, charged all relevant security agencies to work in synergy in a bid to fishing out those behind these atrocious acts..

It is totally unacceptable to keep silent and allow these evil of monumental proportion, to be swept under the carpet.

Nothing can further assuage our painful feelings, except FACTS and JUSTICE.

Sadly, despite military/police check points on that axis, innocent commuters are subjected to all manner of humiliating experience, while the Fulani pastoralists move unhindered into the bushes, destroying peoples means of livelihood.

We are miffed by the audacity of these mindless herdsmen, mostly of Fulani origin and their military agents, traversing the nooks and crannies of Ala Igbo with a trail of blood of innocent People on their footpath are not deterred.

We say to them, ENOUGH!

Further more, assassination, banditry and kidnapping, must be brought to an end along Umunneochi/Isuikwuato Federal Constituency with immediate effect.

Igbo youths are brave, industrious, enterprising, peaceful, and above all ready for any uncertainty. Our silence is not cowardice. Thus we hereby launch a fact finding mission into this awful discovery in order to set records straight and support on going efforts to stem further impasse.

We have kept quiet for too long, while these bandits lunch monumental destructions, purely orchestrated by overzealous security personnels.

We will like to use this same vein to remind the Nigeria State, that True Federalism must be anchored on the tripod of Equity, Justice and fairness.

However, we, assure the Executive Governor of Abia State, Mazi Alex Otti, OFR, that the entire IGBO YOUTHS, will stand with him, Shoulder to Shoulder on his fight to rid Abia of criminal elements, and lastly, re-echo our unimpeachable belief that the unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, will undoubtedly usher in lasting peace and guarantee security of lives and properties of our people.
