Plumber turned mad man chained by Native doctor for destroying his fortress

CYNTHIA CHIDINMA IGBOKWE writes that a Plumber from Umuizuogu, Ifite Nibo community Awka South Local Government area of Anambra State now referred as a mad man, Mr Chinedu Nweke has been chained by a native doctor, Mr Jekwu Anaemeyuokwu for destroying his fortress.

Chinedu was not irrational from birth but ran mad sequel to over indulgence on smoking of Indian hemp (Marijuna).

Chinedu’s mother and a Septuagenarian Mrs Nweke Nwaerutu is in pains over the condition of her son. She is appealing to the Government, Obiano and wife , her NGO CAFÉ as well as Religious organizations to come to her aid and rehabilitate her son as she cannot afford the rehabilitation cost.

She said she has heard that Obiano’s wife has rehabilitated so many with health challenges including madness, hence she is appealing for help for her son.

She said her husband died very early in her married life and that she has suffered since then and to add to her pains , her son is now running crazy.

Chinedu, it was discovered invaded the shrine of Jekwu for the second time warranting him to take the decision to chain him to avoid further destruction of his shrine.

Mrs Nwerutu, said: ‘’ If my son is healthy will he invade the shrine of Jekwu? As You can see, he is mentally deranged and there is nothing I can do at my age to help him. I appeal to Nibo community, wife of Obiano and her NGO CAFÉ to assist my family and rehabilitate my son in the Nteje Rehabilitation. My son was not mad from birth but he is now mad. He needs help’’.

Jekwu could not be reached but he allegedly said he has nothing against Chinedu or anybody but he only chained him to prevent him from destroying his shrine as he has done that more than twice.

Chinedu’s mum did not say anything at the contrary on what Jekwu said.
