Mr Precious Anslem, a photo exhibitor, has called on creative artists to use their creative talents to redesign and promote a new Nigeria where things will be working in the right direction.

Anslem made the call on Tuesday in Abuja at a photo exhibition tagged “dream and echoes”, designed to project his dream for a new Nigeria, adding that this was the desire of most Nigerian youths.

He called on other creative artists all over the country to emulate the gesture by using their crafts in various forms to paint the country and change the mind of those thinking negative about the nation.

He particularly mentioned creative artiste like the musicians, poets, rappers, actors, comedians and others to represent the new Nigeria with the crafts.

According to him, he has been opportuned to travel all over the 36 states of the country, and that the country is not so bad the way some people think about it.

“As a young Nigerian, I have been opportuned to travel round the whole 36 states and their capitals; one thing I realised is that our leaders have lied to us and made us feel religion and ethnicity have divided us.

“In my own sojourn, I realised we are not different; we have the same problem; we have the same joy; we celebrate the same thing; we have the same passion; nothing is different from us, we are all Nigerians.

“This is what this exhibition is all about, and for the fact that we are one Nigeria, we are doing this to make people understand that irrespective of what is happening in the country today, Nigeria can be better.

“Every four years is an opportunity to get better by chosing the right people into government to take us from where we are to another level.

“This exhibition is targeting mostly the young people, although it is open for everyone, mostly the young people. The young are the future of the country.

“Most youths here are not married, and in few years, we will all get married and we need to believe that Nigeria can work again, Nigeria can be better, Nigeria can be that country I dreamt of,” Anslem stressed.

He said that the country would be great again where every Nigerian would be proud of, adding that the essence of the exhibition was to create awareness in the youth about a new Nigeria.
