Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria mourns Late Bessy Amaubochi, says COVID-19 is an End-time sign

The La crème of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria(PFN), Anambra State turned out en masse as the body of their Patroness Late Bessy Amaubochi was laid to rest at Oba, Idemili South.

The deceased and her husband, the General Superintendent(GS), One Foundation Gospel Mission(OFGM), Inc., Rev. Christopher Amaubochi were part of the pioneers who spearheaded the Pentecostalism movement in Anambra State in the late 70’s.

In his sermon titled ‘The Gift of God’, PFN State Chairman, Bishop Moses Ezedebego urged people to accept the gospel of Jesus Christ the savior of humanity.

“Sicknesses, hardship, Crises and Death came because Adam ate the forbidden fruit but ‘The gift of God is eternal life through His son Jesus Christ’.

“Humanity is in crises. The world is shutting down because of Corana virus. After Covid-19 comes famine and poverty. More crises are coming as fulfillment of word of God about End-time.

In her tributes, Mrs Ifeoma Obukaifedi described late Bessy as friend who loved the work of God and evangelism and was ready to face any king of persecution because of her belief.

According to Rev. John Eze of Christian Pentecostal Mission,” Bessy was a patient and soft spoken listener who opened her heart, home and resources to many directing them to the right way of life.

Also, the Assistant GS of OFGM, Rev. Prince Okoye said that her death was a big loss to OFGM family because as Christian warrior she made a gospel mark in the South East.

However, the chief mourner, Rev Amaubochi said that his late wife was a pillar to his ministerial work, finances and philanthropy saying that she was with him through sufferings at Nzam and Innoma missions.

“She was a help mate indeed. She started from Akamu(Pap) selling to motorcycle merchandize using all the proceeds to support my family and ministry. She never withholds me from helping anybody”, he said.

Meanwhile, the Cordinator, One Foundation Group of Schools, Rev Nenweronu Edozieobi with his team was on ground to make sure that the State PFN burial was hitch free wishing everyone Godspeed.
