Police restrategise to restore public confidence – CP
Mr Ahmed Magaji-Kontagora, the Commissioner of Police (CP), Kebbi Command, said the police was restrategising to flush-out criminals and restore public confidence across the state.

He disclosed this in an interview with journalists shortly after a “Show of Force” in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital on Friday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the ‘Show of Force’ headed by the command drew security agencies like; the Nigerian Army, Department of Security Service (DSS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), among others.
The commissioner described the exercise as a synergy between security agencies in the state, saying, that it was the reason why they demonstrated a show of force by coming together to show to the public that they were united.
“We show to the public that we are ready to work together to fight crime and criminality as we earlier stated in our maiden speech.
“This is a sign of readiness from all the security agencies. It is also meant to improve the synergy between various security agencies in the state.
“We also want to restore public confidence in the minds of Nigerians that we are with them, we are going to protect them and there is no going back about it,” he said.
The commissioner urged members of the public to cooperate as well as support the police and other security agencies with credible intiligence to be able to serve them better. (NAN)
