The General Overseer of Love Breeds Christian Ministries Incorporation, Bishop Charles Uchenna, has tasked Governor Chukwuma Soludo to give more attention to the development of Awka in order to provide the state capital with the outlook of a modern city in his second term.
Bishop Uchenna, who is also the General Secretary of the Pentecostal Bishops Association Anambra State Incorporation, urged the Governor to ensure Awka receives attention deserving of the state capital in his budgets and developmental plans.
He expressed optimism that with continued commitment, the administration will consolidate on its achievements and leave lasting developmental impacts across the state.
He however praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo for what he described as notable achievements during his first term in office.
He further said many people were initially uncertain about the direction of the administration when the governor assumed office, but noted that the government has surpassed expectations through visible development projects across the state.
According to the Pentecostal cleric, the administration has particularly distinguished itself in the area of road infrastructure.
He stated that reports and public assessments have rated the governor highly, adding that the scale of road construction and rehabilitation undertaken across the state exceeds what some previous administrations accomplished.
Bishop Uchenna also commended the government for ensuring that social amenities are equitably distributed among communities, noting that improvements in security have contributed to creating a safer environment for residents.
He further emphasized the role of the church as the moral compass of both government and society, explaining that religious leaders continually pray for those in authority and encourage leadership that aligns with the will of God.
