Peaceful Protest Erupts in Omasi Over Alleged Actions of Community Leaders
A peaceful protest is currently underway in Omasi community as residents take to the streets to express their grievances against Igwe Benjamin Okeji, Chief Paul Odenigbo (former Secretary to the Anambra State Government), Chimex Okoye, Alfred Okafor, Uche Okafor (Onye Amuma) and others they describe as their cohorts.
The protesters, drawn from different parts of the community, are demanding accountability and justice over issues they say have affected peace, unity, and development in Omasi.
