Peace Over Panic: POCACOV’s Christmas Campaign Lights Up Anambra”As the festive season draws near, the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV), Anambra State Chapter, is taking proactive steps to ensure that joy, not fear, defines this Christmas. In a bold and strategic move, POCACOV, in collaboration with the Anambra State Police Command, launched its “Crime-Free Christmas Sensitization Campaign” under the theme: “Promoting Peace, Preventing Crime This Christmas.”
The campaign, which was simultaneously staged across Nigeria’s 36 states, is part of a nationwide directive from the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, to promote safety and community-led crime prevention during the holidays.

Ezika emphasized that the synergy between the police and POCACOV is a testament to the Nigeria Police Force’s evolving commitment to **community-based, preventive policing**.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Orutugu, while addressing participants, issued a stern warning to individuals involved in cult-related and criminal activities, affirming that the Command would not tolerate any threats to public peace during the festive season. He reiterated the police’s dedication to deploying lawful strategies to maintain order and protect lives and property.

Hon. Ezika, on behalf of POCACOV, *commended Chief Nwabueze philanthropist whose foundation has consistently supported peace and development initiatives in the state. f
