PDP Disqualifies 2 Aspirants, Atiku, Wike, Saraki, PDP Hopefuls Face Panel

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Friday, disqualified two of its 17 presidential candidates.

With their disqualification, the two aspirants would forfeit the N40 million they paid for the expression of interest and nomination forms.

The chairman of the presidential screening committee, Senator David Mark announced the disqualification of the two aspirants on Friday evening.

The screening committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) screened presidential hopefuls on its platform.

The panel vetted those who have purchased and submitted the expression of interest and nomination forms to represent the party in the 2023 presidential election.

Those who have expressed interest include Atiku Abubakar, Governor Wike, Saraki and others.
