PDP Acting Chairman Abdulrahman Muhammad Vows Party Rebirth as New BoT Is Inaugurated

Acting PDP National Chairman, Alhaji Abdulrahman Muhammad, has declared a new era of “renewal and moral rebirth” as the party inaugurated its new Board of Trustees (BoT) on Friday.
He said the move marks a turning point to restore justice, fairness, and respect for the rule of law after years of internal crises and impunity.
“The new Board is not a reward for loyalty but a sacred trust,” Muhammad stated, vowing that under his leadership, the PDP will uphold transparency, unity, and internal democracy.
He admitted past mistakes, including neglecting zoning before the 2015 elections, and pledged that the party would “never again be held hostage by impunity or manipulation.”
