Ozumba Chronicles Mrs Obiano’s Life, Achievements for Posterity

A book the chronicles the life and achievements of wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Dr (Mrs) Ebelechukwu Obiano has been presented to the public.
The book, ‘Ebelechukwu Obiano, Anambra’s First Lady Of The Grassroots’, was written by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Anambra State, Mr Emeka Ozumba.
The one hundred and eighty-three page literature succinctly mirrors the governor’s wife’s breakthroughs beginning from her early life, to a professional and then through the eight years of her husband’s administration.
Partitioned into eight subtitles, the piece also captures the charity journeys of the governor’s wife, which has span across years.
The tabulated chronology is coming at a time when many observers argue that there is need to keep a note of Dr (Mrs) Obiano’s life’s activities; her inimitable successes in social services, and then her peerless work pattern in her husband’s time in office.
The book reviewer, a professor of English at the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Ngozi Chuma-Udeh said that Mr Ozumba, has plotted a perfect trajectory of the governor’s wife’s life; a cumulative record of her engagement in the past eight years, and praised the comprehensives and value of the work.
She said that book espouses Dr (Mrs) Obiano’s courageous spirit, and exrays her ability to multitask, including her willingness to try new adventures, a mindset that gave birth to CAFE in August, 2014.
The book’s chief unveiler, Chief Atai Egwuonwu in a remark, said that the piece is an important keepsake, and urged everyone who want to get a comprehensive view of the governor’s wife’s life to grab a copy of the book
The author of the book, Mr Ozumba in an interview, said that it was necessary to keep a written history, to tell a story that would be recounted by generations of what the governor’s wife achieved during her husband’s time in office, as reference point for future socio-political conversations.
Mr Ozumba, who is also CAFE’s Project Manager noted that Dr (Mrs) Obiano has redefined the function of a governor’s wife by playing an important role in governance to complement the efforts of her husband, touching lives in a way that had never been witnessed in the history of Anambra State.
Dr (Mrs) Obiano is the first governor’s wife in the history of Anambra State to have a book written on her.
