Osun to Implement New Minimum Wage Starting December 1
The Osun State Government has announced that the newly approved minimum wage of N75,554.20 for civil servants will take effect from December 1, 2024. This follows successful negotiations between the state government and organized labor unions. A circular dated November 29, 2024, also outlined the new wage structure and improved pension package, reinforcing the government’s efforts to address outstanding issues affecting pensioners. The circular stressed that the increase was the result of thorough negotiations and careful consideration of the state’s finances.
