We have seven schools offering Mass Communication in the state excluding Paul University Awka which did not participate.

They are Federal Polytechnic Oko, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, COOU Igbariam, Tansian University Umunya, Madonna University Okija, Legacy University, Okija, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka and Odumegwu Ojukwu Polytechnic Ezinifite.

They are to convince the prospective students on why their Higher Institution is the best for Mass Communication studies among these schools.

Tansian University is a higher institution that was founded by The Late Very Reverend Monsignor Professor John Bosco Akam with the vision of being a dynamic academic institution which epitomizes the noble traditions of sounds, high quality education properly blended with moral rectitude that offers relevant academic programmes for the production of globally competitive graduates imbued with the love of universal truth for the benefit of the society.  Tansian University was licensed on the 27th of May 2007, christened after a rare African first Nigerian to be beatified in the person of Blessed Cyprian Micheal Iwene Tansi. Since its inception Tansian University has continued to offer relevant academic programmes designed to produce highly qualified graduates that will be locally and globally acceptable.  The University has as its motto the Latin adage: Scientia potestas et virtus, which its linguistic translation is Knowledge is Power and Virtue. Tansian University has two campuses which are located at Oba and Umunya respectively in Anambra State. The University has five faculties respectively namely, Natural and Applied Sciences, Management and Social Sciences, Education, Law and Health Sciences and has a total of twenty-five Departments.           Tansian University is indeed the best higher institution to study Mass Communication because the university has the state of the art mass communication studio which encompris of radio and television channels respectively namely Tansian Radio and Tansian Television, the studio which is located in the Oba campus of the noble university has the best studio equipment and it is runned by the Department of Mass Communication and the most interesting part of it is that students of the department who are in 300 and 400 levels respectively are the ones who run the affairs of the studio under the supervision of the Head of Department. Another reason why Tansian University remains the best institution to study Mass Communication is that the students are well tutored on the managerial skills needed in the management of a radio and television studio which has its reflection in the control of the university’s radio and television channels respectively. The students are also given both theoretical and practical knowledge on the production of News Papers, Newsletters, Magazines and are also tutored on the production and writing of drama scripts and the host of other knowledge acquired. The university also has to its manifold possession the collection of mass communication textbooks and journals in its standard and well equipped library. The university has also well-equipped, trained and professional lecturers to inculcate knowledge to the students. It also has well ventilated and conducive lecture hall that is specifically for Mass communication students.
          The above paragraphs have in them in a summarized form reasons why prospective students should desire to study Mass Communication in Tansian University because its indeed a wonderful experience.
