Oba Regent advocates for Joint South-East Security Network, Street CCTV camera installation

The Regent of Oba, Prince Noel Ezenwa(Ezeamaalu) has opined that Southeast Governors can achieve an effective joint security system through a synergy between vigilante operatives and security forces in their various localities.

Ezenwa also said that the Governors can improve security through the installation of modern security gadgets like CCTV cameras in all nooks and crannies of the states in the Southeast geopolitical zone.

Prince Ezenwa who spoke to newsmen at Ezeokpoko royal palace, Oba, Idemili South, side Anambra State said since the masses do not cherish the name Ebube-Agu, the sequel to its bastardization by some of the operatives, the governors should look for a neutral name for any joint security operatives they may want to set up.

“The CCTV cameras should be mounted in various strategic locations in the Southeast geopolitical zone to capture everything going on and experts should be deployed to monitor the objects being captured by the cameras from time to time and feed the operatives back with phone calls”.

“The vigilante operatives must establish an effective synergy with security agencies in such a way that before they carry out any arrest in a particular locality, they must first of all, inform appropriate security agencies within the area to avoid suspicion and misunderstanding by the neighbourhood”.
