Oba Brothers Association donate Security Van to Vigilante

Oba Brothers Association has donated a Security van(Sienna Toyota New model) to the Anambra Vigilante Service (AVS) Oba division to assist in the fight against crime and criminality within the community and environs.

The presentation ot the vehicle was made in the presence of the Regent of Oba, Prince Noel Ezenwa(Ezeamaalu Oba) and the President General Oba Patriotic Union, Rev. Chris Emelie at the EzeOkpoko palace, Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra State.

According to the President, Oba Brothers Association, Sir. Makuachukwu Chukwujama(Okeifeadigo Oba), Our Vigilante, Oba youths and people living here in Oba are doing everything to make Oba calm.

“So, we, majority of us living in Diaspora decided to support our people here making them understand that we are behind them. Let them be courageous in ensuring security of lives and property of Oba residents.

“Oba Brothers Association has been doing a lot for our community in the past. We built an ultramodern Primary Healthcare center. We build hospitality, we support the security architecture of Oba. We also distributed trailer loads of food items during the Covid 19 pandemic lockdown,” Chukwujama said.

He further appealed to well spirited illustrious sons of Oba to join the association or on individual basis continue to spread love to Oba people and the community saying that a tree cannot make a forest.

Moreover, a founding member of Oba Brothers Association, Chief Vincent Ananti (Ananepungwu Oba) said that one of the driving forces behind the charitable association was to ensure the oneness of Oba people and community.

“We are joining hands with other groups and individuals who have been supportive to help Oba remain a habitable, peaceful and secured entity. Today, we are here to answer the clarion call towards improving the security of Oba community. Security will enable our people living outside to come home and attend events and go back without fear of molestation.

“The security van will help in combating crime and criminality within Oba and Anambra State in general. We also commend other groups and individuals who have been supportive in the affairs and developmental projects of Oba community,” Ananti said.

However, Prince Noel Ezenwa thanked the Oba Brothers for their continued efforts in assisting the community in various ways in the spirit of ‘Akulueuno and Odimma Ndi Oba’ urging God to bless the donors.

“Congratulations! Life is first before anything. I pray that this security van will add value in the fight towards a secured, peaceful and progressive Oba community,” Ezenwa said.
