Nasarawa Police, arrest woman over theft of 4 months old baby

A four months old baby who was reportedly stolen weeks ago has finally been found and the culprit arrested by the Nasarawa state police command operatives.

The police command through the command spokesman, ASP Nansel Ramhan in  a press release said “on  8/3/2021 at about 2000hrs, a complaint was lodged at Uke Division by one Queen Moses  of Gidan Zakara,  at Uke of Karshi development area, Karu LGA that, one Sewuese (F) Humba came to her House at about 1000hrs of same day and took away her four months old Child after she fell asleep,but  all effort to locate her and the where about of the child proved abortive.”

The police stated that “upon receipt of the Complaint, a painstaking investigation was launched by the Uke Divisional Police Officer and his team. Consequently, on 11/3/2021, the suspect was trailed and arrested at Adikpo village of Benue State where the Four Months old baby Boy was recovered from her and taken to the Hospital for medical examination.”

The release signed and issued to newsmen on Saturday  revealed that the suspect will be charged to court upon conclusion of Investigation.

Meanwhile, Commissioner of Police, CP Bola Longe psc(+) warned all criminals in Uke and every part of the State to move out or turn a new leaf, else they will be fumigated.
