N-Power Portal Opens Officially 11:45PM, See guideline

The Federal Government N-Power Social Investment Portal reopens for fresh applications from 11:45pm tonight. Interested and eligible applicants should visit https://npower.fmhds.gov.ng/signup to register.

Incase you have registered before 11:45Pm tonight, kindly register again, because it was not captured by N-Power database.

Note that the application is free and applicants are expected to supply basic details including Bank Verification Number (BVN).

According to N-Power, the following set of persons are encouraged to apply for its 2020 recruitment on the portal: Graduates and non-graduates who are presently unemployed. Those between 18-35 years old. People with desires to get life-long skills and become solution providers in their communities.

Intending N-Power applicants are required to note the following before registration: Get your BVN ready. Ensure you are are not an existing employee in any organization. A printout or current details of your Bank Verification Number (BVN). A current passport photograph (1MB) either JPEG or PNG files.

A valid contact email address or a working phone number Your degree certificate and NYSC certificate (if you are a graduate) and want to apply for N-Teach or N-Health. The application is done online. The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development had announced the commencement of enrolment for a new batch of N-Power beneficiaries effective June 26.

A statement from the Ministry said the commencement of the Batch C enrolment is sequel to far reaching consultations and a review of the submissions on the reform and realignment of the programme for greater efficiency. “Batch C is also being enrolled to provide opportunities for more Nigerian youths to access the programme, in furtherance of the President’s vision of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty by creating opportunities that will enhance the productivity of the Nigerian youths for entrepreneurship,” the statement said.

The Ministry added that Batch A will exit June 30, 2020 and Batch B will exit the programme on July 31, 2020 with plans already in place to transition them into entrepreneurship. The N-Power programme had enrolled 500,000 beneficiaries thus far – 200,000 from Batch A which started in September 2016 and 300,000 from Batch B which kicked off in August 2018.

The beneficiaries were supposed to spend not less than 24 months on the program and were spread across the key industries targeted by the program – Agriculture, Health, Education, and Tax on a monthly stipend of N30,000.
