N-power: People Who Shouldn’t Be Employed Into The Programme.

As the application process into N-power programme is on, and it is expected to be closed soon. Many people have applied and they are waiting to see the selected applicants.

As the application portal for N-power has not been declared closed, many people are still expected to apply.

In the application guidelines into N-power, the qualified people have been stated, as well as those, that are not qualified.

There are also some people that are not supposed to think of applying for the N-power programme, but, because of their selfish interest, they have applied. These may want to be collecting money without going to their PPA, if they are eventually selected.

Who are those people concerned?

Anybody, who have been employed already by the government, that applied for the N-power should be fished out. These kind of people will only not the aim and objective of establishment of the N-power be achieved. These kind of people just want to be collecting the money (stipend), they will never have time to attend to their responsibility under the scheme. The Honourable Minister, Sadiya Umar Farouq should ensure that these people are identified during the final selection of the beneficiaries, so that they won’t be selected.

Also, the previous N-power beneficiaries, who reapplied for the programme, should be identified and disqualified straight away. If these people can be identified, it will give other people avenue to be selected to participate in the programme. So, the Honourable Minister should ensure that they are not allow to be re – employed into the scheme, to allow new applicants in.

Lastly, anybody that has been engaged in any of the Federal government poverty alleviation programme should be fished out. If these kind of people are allowed again, they will disallow the new applicants to have the opportunity of being selected .

I implore the Honourable Minister, Hajiyah Sadiya Umar Farouq, to ensure that all of the above mentioned are identified and disqualified, so, to let the new applicants to be selected successfully.
