Excerpt

Dr, we are getting closer to another electioneering campaign period,do you hold anything in mind this time, with regards to 2023?

Well,I ve contested election twice, first was in 2014/2015,for the position of house of representative and the most recent which was in 2018/2019.i contested to be senator up to the secondary election,so stories about electoral contest and Dr Ngrahgbu wouldn’t be a surprise. At the moment,we have contemplation as our politics is not about ourselves, but about the people and what they will have us do. But to be very specific,I helped in guiding the people , peradventure, they have such contemplation towards calling out some of us to once more by 2023 come out for a possible political stewardship, through elective offices .I will be more open and available for a House of representative position in my new party, the great APC.
I said this because in politics,I am more of a realist, that have come to help build the party and the nation, and to start doing such work at the best of location that’s why I will be more constraint towards the House of representative outing and no any other.
Dr Ngrahgbu will not talk about the senate,I am not also keen about a state assembly position, because I want to manifest at the best of point based on the endowment of God in me for governance.

Before now you have always talked about rendering service, yet within a short time that you came into politics, you have crest cross from one party to the other,do you still have followership?

Well, you may feel is a setback but for me I will rather said it is a setup,is a progress made and if I only have people in one state ,today it is recorded that I have people in 3 states .So I don’t think I have moved backward, but moved forward.I have structures and network in the PDP who are always willing to do politics that is centered in my personality and not party,I have them again in APGA ,who may choose to remain in APGA but if it is about trying Dr Ngrahgbu in any elective office of political position, they will always go with me.
Today ,I’m in APC ,is not political prostitution or political waka-about ” let me used this pegion”is not even lost of focus ,it is aspiration. The Nigeria political parties have no clear cut difference in their manifestoes and constitution,so makes it very convenient for somebody who is seeking to serve to relocate ,just to have the opportunity to serve his or her country and that’s my passion.i am a technocrat and not a routine politician or a road side politicain.I have something to give back to Nigerians, because taxpayers money have been invested iny training,so I’m eager to render service before my time passes and if Nigerian political ideologies resides in individuals and not with political parties ,without fences ,boundary or barier that would hinder me from a journey that will lead me into proper stewardship of my country,it is a plus that today I am one among the few privilege politicains that can called people in PDP ,APGA and in APC and they will say yes,we are available to give you support to serve as it is also a plus to my party the APC,I didn’t come alone,I came with a structure from the previous political parties structures ,I came with people in their thousands and the APC is celebrating ,those who were with me in the PDP because of my standing in politics are still with me ,even those in APGA,so I think it is a privilege God has given me to have a broad based with respect to political followership that cut across parties divides.

What do you think differently that endeared you to aspire for the house of reps ,which the incumbent has failed to do?

Okay, my statement on where I will prefer to serve at the moment has nothing to do with anybody that is at present occupying the position today,on his or her records,it is simply an indication of where ,if people keep beckoning on me I am likely to offer myself for service. The incumbent is not in APC ,so there is no reason why the APC wouldn’t want to have a house of reps member, even if the man I’m PDP have over performed ,APC will also want to have that position , primarily it is about my party adding to the green chamber and not about performances of anybody I will like to be imagined that the incumbent, who is a PDP member has done his best in 8years and should be packing his bags and be willing to roll his mat ,as well as planning his exit after prospectively spending Eight years in the green chamber I am also imagining the constituents in Kokona,Keffi and Karu, seeing his best and they will still prefer to see more.

We have observed that among a number of political gladiators from the western zone ,you are more at home with the present minister of state for science and Technology, what is your interest?

I think i am happy that this question came up in this interview, because I have been so accused by so many clicks, especially with respect to positioning of the senate .I am no doubt with our dear minister of state ,because by divine providence,he is stationed as a key leader of our great party in Nasarawa state and mind you, my journey into the APC was made more receptive and accommodative by people like the honourable minister Barrister Hassan Mohammed Abdullahi, if my memory will not fail me ,he was the first top APC notcher in the state that received me at his ministry’s headquarters in Abuja ,along with my teeming followership and it was on network news that same day. He gave my defection into the APC a national outlook,so he is a man I will always appreciate. Furthermore more ,he is serving in a ministry that is within my professional calling,I am in natural and applied science ,he is the minister of state ,in the ministry of science and technology even while i was still in APGA ,when his name was announced,as minister ,I approached him to offered my free consultancy services when ever the need arises for anything he will have me do for him for the betterment of the ministry and Nigeria ,and if he fells ,they will say Nasarawa state has failed.
