Mother dies separating brawl between two sons in Abuja
A woman recognized as Zainab Ibrahim, at the Kpaduma ll area of Asokoro in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, on Saturday, perished while separating a fight that ensued between her two sons, Inusa and Usman.
Odogwublog.com gathered that one of her sons, Inuwa, mistakenly macheted their mother on her left hand.
The source explained, “Zainab was rushed to a private hospital where she died.”
He said Inusa had attempted to use the cutlass on his brother, but mistakenly cut his mother on her left hand.
When contacted, the spokesperson for the FCT command, Josephine Adeh, explained that Inusa was at large and that investigation was ongoing.
She said that the Command received a distress call and rushed to the scene, stressing that the mother was taken to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.
She explained that Usman is in custody, while Inusa is at large.
