Meet Comr Chuma, the man I admire!

0

He is a First Class Chief of Ogbunike, a seasoned broadcast journalist, philanthropists per excellence, custodian of truth and an anti-corruption crusader. He is a member of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA who has been infamously tagged the “prodigal son of APGA”. I will tell you why.

Comr Harris Chuma-Odili PhD, is an Igbo man who believes so much in the Igbo agenda; therefore the sage, who believes and preaches the philosophy of “nka bu nke anyi”, has remained in APGA even while the incumbent detests him. He has been dragged on the electronic media by the incumbent, using every medium at their disposal to shut him up, but this man, Ogene Igbo, has refused to keep quiet. As his name implies, he heralds the truth to every conscience.

The truth is bitter and most men, especially politicians, do not want to hear the truth; that is why they surround themselves with sycophants. There have been constant media attacks on Comr Chuma, Ogene Igbo, by pseudonyms, who claim to be media aides to the incumbent. His crime is this– asking governor Obiano to fulfil his campaign promises. He only wants better life for the people of Anambra in genera and ndi Ogbunike in particular.

Ogene Igbo doesn’t live in Anambra State, his business is not in Anambra either and whatever development the government brings to Ogbunike does not affect him directly. Also, Ogene Igbo who had the opportunity of dining and wining with the seat of power in Agu-Awka, and with his oratory skills and clout sing the praises of Obiano and get lofty appointments and titles, preferred to be far away, telling the governor the truth. This is the man I admire so much, a fearless and selfless man whom has turned himself into an enigma.
