Believe you me if you allow equity, Justice, and fairness to prevail in our daily living, the world would have been a safe heaven. You don’t expect one to be responsible without giving him or her a responsibility.

‘In 2003, we all agreed and went to North in the interest of peace, equity and fairness. Going North was borne our of the brotherly love we all shared so as for them to know that they are still Ndi Anambra. And come 2017, we all came out enmass again to support the North to complete their full tenure without interference this the 21/21 victory given to the incumbent.

‘ Ndi Anambra asi na uka akpaluakpa bu isi ka eji ekwe ya, maka na emelu nwata ka emelu ibeya obi adi ya mma.

‘ I urge ans implore all the political parties to not only zone their Governorship ticket to the South but make sure also that a competent and qualified person that will continue to steer the wheels of leadership emerges from the South.

‘If we take into cognizance the past and serving Governors and their zones ……we will actually know that it’s ripe for us all to go South….

‘And generally in going South, we will make sure we get the right candidate with the right pedigree that has got the capacity and the wherewithal to take charge and do things as it ought to be.

‘ Let’s be able to sieve out chaffs from the grain. In testing for depth of a river, let’s not use our two legs. Going through the 21st century leadership chart of Anambra State :

1999-2003 4 years (South)

2003-2006 3 years (Central)

2006-2010 4 years (Central)

2010-2014 4 years (Central)

2014-2018 4 years ( North)

Going from the above, it’s evidently clear that for peace to reign and for the sake of equity and equal justice, we demand that power return to South, though power is not given but taken but when there is agreement and Concord, it makes taking less difficult.

‘Ndi Anambra, in all say equity is justice and what we demand is justice’.

‘ Let’s go Anambra South’.

In his contribution, SSA on Legal Matters to Governor Willie Obiano, Barr Chika Ekwenugo pointed out that going Anambra South remains the best option for the state to reduce wastages associated with politics in the State, but warned that credibility won’t be sacrificed in the altar of zoning.

He advocated for legalizing of zoning to make governance easier aside saving costs.
