King Of Six Nations Celebrates New Yam Festival, Marks Birthday On A Low Key To Reflect The Mood Of The Nation

HRM. Igwe Jerome Ezeneche (king of six nations) has celebrated the new yam festival in Bangkok, Thailand. The Nigeria’s foremost leader in Thailand stated that there was need for Igbo custodians of culture to continue to promote our tradition even outside Nigeria in order to make sure that our people overseas were not disconnected from home.
Speaking further, he charged ndi igbo in the diaspora to be ambassadors of Igbo culture wherever they found themselves adding that our culture remains our pride.
On a related development, Igwe Jerome Ezeneche has marked his birthday, though on a very low key, to reflect the mood of Ndi Igbo at this time. His birthday celebrated on the 10th October every year with funfare was not loud this year. On why he didn’t want to celebrate his birthday with so much pomp this year, Igwe Ezeneche stated that he was not happy with the way things are going in Igbo land and noted that there was no way he wouldl be celebrating in Thailand while things are bad for his people at home.
Concluding, he stated that more birthdays will be celebrated in happiness and joy and promised to continue to lend his voice for the release of Nnamdi Kanu.

On another development,Igwe Jerome Ezeneche ,( King of Six Nations) has sympathised with the victims of the recent Fire disaster which engulfed the popular Nkwo Ogbe market, Ihiala and urged them not to loose hope.
He frowned at the incessant fire disasters at major markets in Igbo land and expressed worry how people’s investment continue to go up in flames every now and then and berated government for not putting enough efforts in providing lasting solutions to these challenges.
Igwe Jerome Ezeneche wondered why our market leaders in the south east are still unable to come to the rescue of the traders they lead by initiating good ideas and plans to keep our various markets safe from these kind of disasters ,adding that our market leaders, should start thinking outside the box in the bid to make our markets in the east Safe.
Ezeneche felt sad that almost 25 years after the famous main market Onitsha fire disaster which left tales of woes in many families in Igbo land, it’s still shocking and shameful that no government seem to have been able to draw a plan on how to put a stop to these fire incidents.
He charged government to galvanise market stakeholders as well as experts with a view to seeking ways to bring to a halt this challenges .
He prayed for the victims and promised he would lend his support to help alleviate their suffering during these trying periods in their lives. He urged well meaning Anambrarians to reach out to our brothers at this period.
