The founder of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry, Lagos has critised the Islamic cleric who called for the killing of the first lady of Nigeria Oluremi Tinubu whom he regarded as an “infidel”.

Speaking to newsmen in Lagos this morning the handsome cleric said “it is an abomination and a very grave offence to call for the killing of a good woman who is working tirelessly for the betterment of this nation, this government is a young government,as a prophet of God I have been praying seriously for this nation,we don’t need to shed blood for any reason,we are supposed to come together irrespective of our tribes and religions, work together to advance this nation and seek for solutions to the major problems confronting us,not seeking for who to kill”

The Islamic cleric in a sermon, noted that the first lady is an “infidel” who should be killed.

Speaking in Hausa, the cleric stated that “now Tinubu’s wife is an infidel, and even as an infidel, she is the head amongst infidels”.

“She’s the type that Allah has instructed us to kill because she’s among the leaders of “infidels”

The Imam also added that though married to a Muslim, Mrs.Tinubu should be killed because she’s a pastor.

“She’s a pastor”he said.”That’s how the Quran instructed us to proceed, leaders of Infidels,Allah has directed that they should be killed”.

Prophet Godwin Ikuru said that it’s an affront to denigrate and derogate the first lady to that extent and Called on security operatives to act fast and arrest him before he causes national unrest. He said “I’m calling on the security operatives, the DSS and the police to apprehend this Islamic cleric fast before he causes national unrest because the nation is going through a lot at the moment”
