Just in : Nanka says No to Destruction of property and looting

Youths in Nanka, Orumba North local government area of Anambra state yesterday rejected all forms of destruction of public property and looting by some people in the name of EndSARS protests across the country.

Marching on Afor Nanka during a peaceful protest against destruction and looting, the traditional ruler of the community HRH Igwe Godwin Ezekunie Ezeilo who joined the youths in solidarity applauded their patriotism.

Igwe Ezeilo admonished them on the need to maintain such stance always by desisting from any act of violence and destruction of public property, as its not a solution to the problem.

Contributing, the Nanka ASATU youth leader Mr. Ken Okoli who advised the youths to give government some time to look into the issues raised as their agitations have been heard.

Furthermore, some stakeholders in the community also lend there voices to the trending Issue.

The entire Community were charged with responsibility to protecting the public facilities from been destroyed and looted.
