Isuofia Community Honours Soludo With Chieftaincy Title Of ‘Dikeudo Isuofia’
The government of Anambra State, led by the Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, has observed with the Isuofia Community and Professor Chukwuma Soludo, who newly bagged a chieftaincy title of “Dikeudo Isuofia”.
The event, visited by people from all walks of life, comprising Senator Victor Umeh, a Member representing Anambra East and West Federal constituency, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe, APGA stakeholders and members, among others.
Speaking, Governor Obiano said that Professor Soludo is the best person to replace him as the Governor because he has the reach, contacts, connections and intellectual capabilities to lead Anambra State.
The Governor maintained that the honour and title by Isuofia Community is well deserved because Professor Soludo did well during his days as CBN Governor, during which he achieved the consolidation of banks in Nigeria.
He canvassed support for Professor Soludo because of his achievements, pointing out that he will continue to do well through the All Progressives Grand Alliance.
Speaking shortly after he received the titled from the Traditional ruler of Isuofia, Professor Soludo appreciated the honour and pledged to continue projecting the community and Anambra State in good light to the world.
The Traditional ruler of Isuofia, Igwe Christopher Moghalu, said that Governor Obiano has done a lot for Isuofia community, including standing behind their son to project him as his successor.
Igwe Moghalu prayed for Professor Soludo’s success and pledged the support of Isuofia community in his future endeavours.
