HON. CHIKE ANYAONU RETURNS: A NEW CHAPTER OF PROGRESS, DEVELOPMENT AND TRANSFORMATION AT ASHDC
The Anambra State Housing Development Corporation (ASHDC) proudly reintroduces Hon. Chike Anyaonu as its reappointed substantive Managing Director, following his successful first tenure of four years, from 2022 to March, 2026.
Having piloted the affairs of the Corporation with remarkable commitment and dedication, Hon. Anyaonu has been entrusted with another four-year tenure to consolidate the gains already recorded and take ASHDC to greater heights.
During his first tenure, the Corporation witnessed significant interventions and development across its estates and facilities. Among the key achievements recorded under his leadership were:
Reconstruction of the Ngozika Estate Phase II access road, addressing a major infrastructure challenge faced by residents.
Construction and improvement of Greenvalley Estate infrastructure, including the access road, gate and gatehouse, as well as some internal roads and drainage systems.
Development of Liberation Estate infrastructure, including the construction of the estate gate and gatehouse, the access road and some internal roads and drainages.
Renovation of the ASHDC Head Office Complex, giving the Corporation a more conducive and functional working environment.
Installation of solar-powered street lights in strategic locations to improve visibility, safety and security within the Corporation and the Corporation’s estates.
Installation of CCTV cameras as part of efforts to strengthen security and protect lives and property.
Improvement in staff welfare and working conditions, alongside several other administrative and developmental initiatives.
These achievements, among numerous other interventions, reflect a leadership committed to infrastructure renewal, estate development, security, staff welfare and improved service delivery.
As Hon. Chike Anyaonu begins his second tenure, expectations are high for greater consolidation, innovation and sustainable development across ASHDC estates.
