The Primate, Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Most Reverend Henry Ndukaba has lambasted the presidency over attacks on Nigerians criticizing President Muhammadu Buhari on his ‘inability to curb the security crisis rocking the entire nation.’

The clergyman, who made the assertion on Wednesday at the Benue Peoples House Makurdi during a courtesy visit on Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, urged the presidency to rather address issues confronting the unity of Nigeria and stop gagging those who speak out.

In his words, “instead of tackling the problems that are facing us, the powers that be are busy trying to gag the people who are speaking out.”

He decried the multifaceted challenges confronting the country, such as insecurity and the poor economic conditions that have led to the displacement of millions and made life unbearable to all.
