President Muhammadu Buhari has pledged to help the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma fight insecurity.

Buhari said he would use his constitutional powers to assist Uzodinma in fighting insecurity in the state.

He spoke during the commissioning of Egbeada-Onitsha bypass road in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

The president also pledged to help Uzodinma deal with infrastructural deficits of the state.

According to Buhari: “I have gone round and I am impressed with what I saw. A society without security and infrastructure will not progress and luckily this is where my vision has tallied with the governor of Imo State. I will use my power as enshrined by the constitution to make the governor achieve more.”
