INEC Raises Concern Over 360,000 Uncollected PVCs in Osun
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has revealed that 360,794 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) remain uncollected in Osun State.
Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Mutiu Agboke, described the figure as worrisome and urged eligible voters to use the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise to collect their cards at designated offices.
He warned against multiple registrations, noting that unclaimed PVCs mean thousands of excluded voices in the democratic process, and called on political parties, civil society, religious and traditional leaders to mobilise citizens for prompt collection.
