I’m Kneeling To Beg You To Allow Ozigbo To Be Governor -Obi Begs PDP

A former governor of Anambra state and the 2019 vice presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party , Mr Peter Obi has begged stakeholders of the party, to join hands with the party’s governorship candidate in the November poll in the state, Valentine Ozigbo, to win the election.


Obi spoke at the PDP stakeholders’ recounciltion meeting held in Awka , the Anambra state capital on Thursday .

He enjoined aggrieved governorship aspirants on the platform of the party to bury the hatchet.

He described Ozigbo’s emergence as the candidate of the party as divine.

Obi said”Ozigbo candidacy is divine and ordained by God for the position and nothing we can do other than to support him. 

“I am begging and appealing to everybody that contested against our candidate to come together and rally round him.

“I’m appealling to all of you; I’m kneelling down and begging you to come together and support Ozigbo for the party to get to the government house Awka.

“Primary election has come and gone , it is time to come together as a family to win the governorship election which is most important.

“God in His infinite mercy has chosen Valentine ozigbo and I think He did not make mistake in choosing him and I believe that he is the best candidate for PDP.
“I’m committed to the Ozigbo project, any time and any place ,” Obi stated..
