Igbo Chieftain Bemoans Increase In Social Vices, Urge professor Soludo To Revive Scholarship Scheme

An Igbo Chieftain and legal practitioner, Chief Vincent Anyanti Esq has lamented over the high rate of social vices in the society, recounting ritual money making, drugs abuse and trafficking and all manners of criminalities which he said are caused by idleness and joblessness.

Chief Anyanti who made the  assertion while fielding questions from newsmen in his ancestoral home Oba in Idemili South LGA of Anambra State added that issues of social vices especially among the youths is very alarming, pointing out that effects of drugs abuse and trafficking should be preached in the Churches and Muslims.

The legal luminary urged the incoming Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo to revive scholarship scheme to enable brilliant young men to have access to education, provide skilled acquisition Center for some people who are skilled inclined and amenities for the uneducated ones so that youths would be busy.

He equally stated that the Governor should declare Lillu, Isseke, Osumoghu and their neighboring communities state of emergency on security as well as expedite efforts on the security architecture of the State and infrastructures, even as he poured accolades on the out going Governor,  His Excellency Chief Willie Obiano for his land mark achievements which included International Conference Center and passengers and Cargo Airport he provided for Anambra State.
