Ide Umuawulu, Ekweozor Hosts Commissioner for Home land Affairs, Anara

It was a moment of joy for the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA Frontline Aspiriant for Awka North and South federal constituency, High Chief Dr Azubuike Ekweozor (Ide Umuawulu, Nwanayoeze) when he hosted the Commissioner for Home Land Affairs, Hon Chikodili Anara, in his country home Umuawulu.
The powerful APGA stakeholder in Awka North disclosed that despite the impromptu notice of his coming that the warm reception awed him.
Welcoming the commissioner, the campaign DG of Ide Umuawulu Campaign Organization, Hon Prince Chinedu Okafor described the commissioner as a strong APGA party leader and appreciated him for the visit, while he disclosed that the faith they have in Awka North to support Chief Ekweozor in his aspiration to represent Awka North and South Federal constituency is not negotiable.
Welcoming his guest, High Chief Ekweozor, Ide Umuawulu reminded Hon Anara that he came out to contest on a single mission of damage control and rescue mission. He then appealed to Awka North to support his mission to redeem the image of the Awka North and South federal constituency.
High Chief Ekweozor also observed that Awka North in the past has been overlooked by the past administration while he assured that his representation would bring Awka North to the limelight.
“All I ask is for support because if we access all my contemporaries back to the days they have no political ambition, you will believe with me that I am tested and trusted.
” I have the heart, love, capacity, influence, and leadership skills to steer the affairs of this constituency.
” I am intelligent too. I have the organogram of Awka North and South, and also I am a grassroots person who has given all to the party.
“By the grace of God, I am coming out to change the narratives and bring back dividends of democracy to my constituency’ Ide Umuawulu maintained.
Appreciating his host, Hon Anara, disclosed how welcoming and smoothening Ide Umuawulu’s speech was during their first meeting.
He described Ide Umuawulu as a man that has a sense of fairness and equity, while he advised Awka South constituency A as a matter of equity to relinquish the representation to Awka South 11.
Hon Anara also prayed for God to bless Ide Umuawulu’s ambition having considered his benevolence.
On his part, the Transition Committee Chairman of Awka North, Hon Ferdinand Onwuje described Ide Umuawulu as a good man whose large heart is not hidden even before electioneering. He said many have benefited from his largess.
Contributing, the traditional ruler of Umuawulu, Igwe Joel Egwuonwu noted that the meeting was a divine one while he insisted that: “Today marks the beginning of celebration in Ide Umuawulu’s political ambition’.
While he reaffirmed that Anara’s visit marks the beginning of victory, and appealed to Awka North to support Ide Umuawulu’s aspiration, he pledged that Ide Umuawulu would not fail on his promises.
