Ibom Air to launch Uyo–Accra international flight May 2
Ibom Air will operate its maiden international flight from Uyo to Accra on May 2, 2026, following the upgrade of Victor Attah International Airport to international status.
Governor Umo Eno described the route as a milestone for aviation, trade and tourism, with a return flight scheduled for May 3.
The state thanked President Tinubu and Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo for approving the upgrade.
