I MUST BRING BACK ALL DEMOCRATIC DIVIDENDS DUE FORIDEMILI – UCHE OKONKWO

Hon. Uche Okonkwo member representing Idemili North and South in the Currenthouse of Representatives has assured that he must bring back to his constituency all democratic dividends due to them vowing that none of them will be left back in Abuja under his watch. Giving this assurance while speaking to newsmen immediately after the memorial service of his late Father Senator Annie Okonkwo which was followed the next day by the massive empowerment of his constituents held in his house at Ojoto, Idemili South LGA.

Hon Okonkwo said he will maintain his father’s legacies through his already-started Youth empowerment programmes as well as the attraction of development-oriented Projects which his father was noted for when he was alive. He noted that he was in a hurry to attract a democratic dividend for his people and pointed out that he had started moving motions as well as pursuing that that would attract landmark projects for the two local governments that make up his constituency.

Hear him, “I am working round the clock to ensure that quality roads, hospitals, other healthcare facilities as well as other infrastructures are attracted to my people, so far am doing a program on training and empowerment, attraction of employment, Skill acquisition programmes, my assurance to the people of Idemili especially the youths which am a part of, is that I will not disappoint them, let them understand that their priorities are always my goal. Am appealing to them to continue having faith in me as am working day and night to ensure that what is due to them from federal is brought back to them.”
