HOW GOV UZODIMMA CONVINCED GOV UMAHI TO LEAVE UMBRELLA FOR BROOM

Perhaps, unknown to many, Governor Hope Nwa Uzodimma was hugely responsible for today’s formal defection of Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state. Perhaps also, many may not know that our Gentle Giant Governor Uzodimma’s leadership style as the leader of APC in the entire South East and sincerity were two things that Gov Umahi gave today as part of his reasons for abandoning the Umbrella and embracing the Broom.

Recall that prior to Governor Hope Uzodimma’s assumption of office on January 15, infact, before he left Abuja for Owerri to take his oath of office, he prophetically assured the President and top party officers that he would ensure that South East collapses for APC with him as the only Governor in the zone.

And since after that time, the Governor has quietly been making diplomatic political shuttle, meeting with different segments of top leaders across party lines, convincing them of the needs to support the zone to be hooked to the national grid in order to attract meaningful development for the zone. He is indeed a political Evangelist and he deployed his tact and talent in doing this and it is yielding positive result already

He has held several meetings with Governor Umahi, Gov Obiano including Gov Okezie Ikpeazu and his Enugu state Counterparts Gov Ugwuanyi Though, Umahi is the first to Port, he has come to prepare the grounds for others to follow. It takes only a man who is politically sagacious, natively intelligent, and a diplomatic expert to do that. He simply understands the business. He is dexterous and above all, he is providing sound leadership and that is endearing his colleagues and other leaders of South East to him.

A leader is one who knows the way, shows the ways and leads the way. That is the vintage Gov Uzodimma. Honestly, Imo people appreciate God for the gift of this man who is crack in approach, gentle in movement, passionate in mind and savvy politically.
Now, that he has gotten Gov Umahi in, let us see who is the next for certainly another big fish is on the way.
As Apostle on the sacred Altar of Truth, we profess Truth undilluted and hopefully, it is in the same Truth that will continue to set us free.
