New Police Area Commander takes over Onitsha, commences administrative building renovation

A new Police Area Commander for Onitsha, Anambra State, Mr. Nasiru Kaila, an Assistant Commissioner of Police, has assumed duty as his predecessor, Mr. John Obuagbaka, left as he was among the newly promoted Deputy Commissioners of Police.

The new arrival who has immediately commenced renovation work on the one -storey administrative building of the Onitsha Area Command, was transferred from Zone One, Kano, Kano State, to Onitsha.

Expressing satisfaction with the environment, the new ACP said he was just 14 days in Onitsha and declined further comment stating that the State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Tochukwu Ikenga, (DSP), would be in position for details.

Meanwhile, the administrative building is wearing a new look sequel to the renovation work going on as the new Commander reportedly has taste for good things.
