Hollywood actors Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good have taken their relationship to the next level, announcing their engagement on Sunday at the 2024 Ebony Power 100 List event.

Good proudly displayed her dazzling engagement ring as the couple posed for affectionate photos on the red carpet.

They also shared the sentimental reason for choosing this particular event to make their engagement public.

“Life is crazy, I’m crying to you, she is the most perfect, beautiful, divine, powerful being that I’ve ever met,” Majors said, expressing his admiration for his fiancée.

“The fact that she said I’m gonna run with you, I’m with it. I feel great,” he added.

Meagan Good revealed the unique setting of their first meeting, saying, “Ebony Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathrooms, in the unisex bathroom.”

The engagement comes during a significant chapter in Majors’ life.

Earlier this year, the 35-year-old actor was ordered to complete a 52-week mandatory in-person domestic violence prevention program and pay a $250 surcharge after being convicted of assault and harassment in connection with a domestic dispute involving his former girlfriend.

Jonathan Majors, known for his roles in Creed III, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and The Harder They Fall, saw the release of his bodybuilding film, Magazine Dreams, delayed following the allegations.

Initially pulled from Disney’s release schedule, the movie is now slated to premiere in early 2025 after being acquired by Briarcliff Entertainment.

Throughout the legal proceedings, Good, 43, stood by Majors’ side, attending court hearings with him.

The Harlem star, who divorced Hollywood producer DeVon Franklin in 2021 after nine years of marriage, continues to balance her career and personal life.

She and Franklin co-authored the relationship book The Wait: A Powerful Practice for Finding the Love of Your Life and the Life You Love six years before their separation.

The couple’s engagement has drawn widespread attention, marking a celebratory moment for the pair as they prepare for their next chapter together.
